After an automobile accident things can be very chaotic. Trying to decide what to do following an accident can be overwhelming as you may be injured, your vehicle may be destroyed and there may be other individuals either in your car or another vehicle that are injured as well. The first thing you should do should be to check on your condition and the condition of other individuals that were involved in the accident, call law enforcement, make sure yourself and others are in a safe location, and call an ambulance, if necessary. During the midst of all of this chaos, one may not think to take photographs of the scene of the accident and the property damage that has occurred. However, it is very important that you take as many photos as possible, if the circumstances will allow you.
Having photographs of your accident to document the damage and any injuries can make the difference between a successful claim and an unsuccessful claim.
